In this video, Sam takes a closer look at the new Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC electric guitar, seen here in beautiful Tobacco Burst. A rarity on a Jackson guitar, the Monarkh range feature a classic single cutaway body design...but don't worry, they still offer the same kind of specs and modern performance that we've come to expect from this manufacturer.

The body of the pro series Monarkh is made from Mahogany with an arched Maple top and it features a Maple set neck with Ebony finger board and twin graphite reinforcement rods. The unfinished neck feels slim and very fast to play, which is to be expected as it features Jackson's "speed neck" profile and the compound radius fingerboard is fitted with 22 jumbo frets and "Ghost Fin" inlays.

All of the hardware is finished in black, the Jackson AT-1 headstock houses 6 high quality locking tuners and the 6-saddle TOM style bridge has been compensated to accommodate the compound radius of the fretboard, keeping tuning and intonation accurate.

High gain rock and metal tones come from a pair of Seymour Duncan Blackout AHB-1 Blackout humbuckers, which then run through a 3-way selector switch, 2 volumes and a tone control.
