Sketchbook session: drawing of Tom Hardy

In this part of this sketchbook series I’ll be doing a photo study of a film still of Tom Hardy from Coditz (2005)

The drawing took a little over an hour, but I’ve sped up the last half to make watching easier.

blackwing matte pencil and sharpener (but any pencil is fine - blackwing is comparable to 3b/4b pencil)
eraser - I love a tombow mono zero and a kneaded eraser
smudging - paper stump
