A fundraising dinner for the Uganda Women’s Effort to Support Orphans (UWESO) has raised over one billion shillings to support the renovation of Masulita Children Village.
The raised funds will facilitate the renovation of dormitories, kitchen shade and dinning, staff houses and the establishment of the children’s outdoor playing facilities.
The dinner organized by the Liberation Generation, comprising of the young people who grew up after the liberation and some of whose mothers started UWESO were led by first daughter Natasha Museveni Karugire at State House Entebbe
