Interspecific Competition: Connell’s Barnacle Experiment | EcolClips

All species need resources for survival and reproduction, like food, habitat and space. Generally, several species occupying the same habitat require the same or similar resources leading to competition among them. Competition between different species is called interspecific competition and is one of the most important aspects in ecology to understand species distribution and adaptation.
