My day 1 at the West Coast Championship was rough. Forgot my net and I kept losing big fish. My camera wasn't charging…so I lost some footage of me losing back-to-back fish in the 4-5lb range on a spinnerbait early in the morning. Stuck with the spinner bait most of the day although my big fish came on a drop shot. Overall, the lake was fishing extremely well. Guys were able to catch them and put them in the kayak and they deserved all the recognition they should get.
