In this episode of Life In Prison we talk about the latest Netflix series “When They See Us”

It’s a series based on a true story about 5 young kids who were charged and convicted of assaulting a woman jogger in Central Park.

All 5 of these kids were later exonerated of all charges after serving between 6-11 years in Prison.

One of the 5 kids involved was named Korey Wize, his story really touched a lot of viewers including me. The things he went through are heartbreaking and I don’t wish it on anyone, but unfortunately it’s something that happens all too often.

I speak on his experiences in prison and solitary confinement as well as share my own experience with solitary confinement and how brutal it can be.

This story is waking a lot of people up to the fact that the system that is supposed to protect us is broken...
