The eighth episode in the series, "Bohemian Sodbusters," which chronicles the story of my Bohemian-German ancestors’ 200-year trek across continents and oceans to become homesteaders in the Canadian West at the turn of the 20th century. In this episode, the Grand Trunk Railroad arrives, the villages of Raymore and Quinton are established, and the homesteaders expand their acreages, build wooden houses and barns, and grow their families.
