Easy tutorial on how to install Kubuntu 16.10 and review on VMware Workstation/Player. This is also helpful for installing Kubuntu 16.10 on physical hardware, computer or laptop. Steps:
1- Download Kubuntu 16.10 ISO
2- Create Virtual Machine on VMware Workstation/Player
3- Start Kubuntu 16.10 Installation
4- Install VMware Tools (Open VM Tools)
5- Kubuntu 16.10 Review

Error Message: The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. Power off or reset the virtual machine.
Solution or Workaround: CPU ID Masking
1- Edit Kubuntu VM Configuration file (.vmx)
2- Add the following line
cpuid.1.eax = "0000:0000:0000:0001:0000:0110:1010:0101"
3- Save the configuration file
4- Power on Kubuntu VM
