Bahir Mātṛka Nyāsam | Consecrate Your Body Using Sanskrit Letters | Shaiva Agama Tantra

In this video, my brother disciple of Somashekara Shivacarya, Aaswath explains on how to perform the Matrika Nyasam. The Matrika Nyasam can be divided into Bahir ( outer ) Matrika Nyasa and Antar ( inner ) Matrika Nyasa. This is a tantrik procedure where we consecrate ( to turn divine ) our body to that of a deity ( Paramashiva as in Shaivism ) using all the letters in Samskrta ( Sanskrit ). The Sanskrit Letters are regarded as Mothers. This procedure is done during a ritual, for example, during a Rudra Homa ( as per Shaiva Agamas ).
Please do not perform this nyasa without guidance or initiation. This procedure has a specific purpose and it cannot be done conventionally. Use this video as a guidance rather than a tool to learn the nyasa from scratch.
