Hi folks, welcome to a new show on Food Lovers TV, where it’s just you, me and the food. In the first season of The Review, we will visit Bengaluru restaurants from the nineties, that even with the passage of time are as relevant for a special outing as they were back then.

Embark on a culinary journey with my brand new show, 'The Review,' right here on Food Lovers TV! 🥳 This season, it's just you, me, and a nostalgic trip back to Bengaluru's iconic restaurants from the 90s – places that remain as relevant and special today as they were decades ago.

In our debut episode, we step into the legendary Ebony on MG Road. This isn't just any restaurant; it's an institution that has beautifully evolved over the years, not just in its space and menu, but in its enduring popularity. I settled in for an unhurried lunch, tasting my way through a magnificent representation of their diverse cuisines, truly straddling the best of Indian, Eastern, and more. Think Mudaliar Lamb Chops, creamy Dahi Kebabs, aromatic Burmese Khaoswe, and spicy Kung Pao Chicken, culminating in delightful Thai dessert, Tob Tim Krob.

But here's a fascinating twist: Did you know that Ebony actually owes its very existence to the First Gulf War? 🤯
