Making a Zoom Interview Overlay for Podcast Videos

Описание к видео Making a Zoom Interview Overlay for Podcast Videos

Two-person Zoom video interviews recorded in gallery view leave a lot of unused space above and below the captured video. In this demo, I use Canva.com, Corel Photo-Paint, and Camtasia by Techsmith to show you how I took my interview screens from flat and boring to lively and colorful with branding, messaging, offer, and CTA built in. And I still have the bottom third of the screen to play with.

Making an overlay for your video interviews is easy and it raises the bar on your viewers' experience. I made mine to add to videos during editing, but the same overlay can be used with third-party live streaming video services that allow graphic overlays.

One thing I like about the one I made is that my brand, community, offer, and link stay in front of viewers the entire time they are watching. This is much more prominent than the website watermark I used to use.

One thing I do as a podcaster is edit single question and answer segments into separate videos for my guests to use on their websites, social media channels, and courses. My overlay is seen in all those places, too.

Canva is a product I use every day. I'm also a Canva affiliate. I'd love for you to try Canva Pro here: https://partner.canva.com/c/1245006/6...

I made a generic template you can use that has the side by side windows in place. You'll still need to make them transparent. https://www.canva.com/design/DAE6zHzy...
