Engine Specs – Mahindra Bolero pick up comes with a powerful 4-cylinder MDI 3200 turbocharged H engine abiding by BS IV emission norms. Another variant of this engine is the MSI 2500 CNG engine which also follows the same emission standards. This engine mates with a 5 synchromeshed forward gearbox and 1 reverse.

Maximum Power output is 63 bhp at 3200rpm and Torque is 195 Nm at 1500 rpm. Drive Train comes in 4 Wheel Drive.
Power plant displacement is 2523cc.
Anti-roll bar at the front end; hydraulic double telescopic shock absorbers at the rear end.
Brakes, Axle and Suspension – Front end consists of disc brakes while at the back end, all Bolero Pick-up trucks consist of drum brakes. The automakers make use of Semi-elliptical Leaf springs in both front and back suspension of their robust pickup. Plus, they also mate an anti-roll bar up front to make the vehicle more stable and resilient to uneven grounds.

The only disappointment, however, with this model lies in the fact that the automakers did not present this lineup with ABS features.
