During this webinar, Brandon Brown and Antonio "Tony" Mancuso share some of the tools, resources, and information the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) maintains to help you prepare for the medical school application process. This includes how to get relevant experience with Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP), what you need to know about the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) exam and American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) application, and where to find advice from current medical students.

Brandon Brown is the Senior Outreach Specialist for Services Communications at the AAMC. He has worked as a higher education scholar-practitioner in the functional areas of academic affairs, student success, student affairs, and multicultural/diversity affairs to increase access, retention, and persistence of underrepresented college students on various campuses over the span of 10 years.

Antonio “Tony” Mancuso is the Communications and Outreach Senior Specialist in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the AAMC. He regularly interacts with communication leads at the 12 program sites in academic health centers and administrators at community colleges, universities, professional organizations, and student organizations to advance the program goals and develop collaboration opportunities.
