Yep, i read all your comments, and i shall answer some of the more frequently asked ones. I chose a solid wood instead of ply, because i prefer the look of a solid piece, and yes it's weaker than ply, but note that this is the 5th hardest wood in the world. Yes, i did not apply grip tape. However, i used a spray on grip called lucid grip.

In this video, i'll show you how i did my longboard out of wood, using a very dense and hard lumber, ensuring a strong deck.
