Dead Malls Season 6 Episode 8 - Lakeforest Mall

Up next and to round out our short BW mall binge, we have a mall in its final days. A mall I couldn’t resist not seeing, before it closed up for good. Between its trapezium glass courts, and several gigantic sculptures, Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg, Maryland was a tragic and sad case. A mall that was closing up shop in 1 week.. The doors were boarded up shortly after this cause where the mall sits to this day awaiting demolition (pending this year).. Also I wasn’t the only one here! We see several locals, and even some other personalities from the dead mall community, come to pay their respects to Lakeforests grave…
