The Ocean Attitude Tamban was made for a specific place in Asia where this was a hit, released internationally, it was one of the most misunderstood jigs - people didn't know where to use them and started using them as "normal" jigs...

I extensively used the smaller sizes from shore and caught some nice fish with them - especially the really small ones (20g) the bigger ones like this one though, is a challenge if you don't know WHEN to use them - and that's when the current is dead or very very slow.

The Tamban from Ocean Attitude is a head heavy fluttering jig - the center of gravity of this jig is near the head - In the thumbnail, it's exactly where the hook is.

The jig is easy to use - just let it flutter and you get strikes, but it only really flutters well when the current is slow and or dead. It spins if you overdo your lifts and doesn't really swim well when jigged erratically.
