How to Spend a Day in Auburn NEW YORK in 2024

Here is how to spend a day in Auburn, New York in 2024. The city of Auburn, New York has a lot of cool sights to see with a lot of great history. In fact, it even has a connection with Harriet Tubman. Harriet Tubman was most famous for helping former slaves escape for freedom via the Underground Railroad in the 19th Century. Later in her life she purchased a home in Auburn where she lived for the remainder of her life. She is also buried over at Fort Hill Cemetery in the city of Auburn. I head out to Auburn to explore the city, get some lunch at the Prison City Pub and Brewery, check out some historic sites including a quick drive by the house Harriet Tubman lived in, visit Emerson Park over at Owasco Lake, and finish off by visiting her gravesite at the cemetery.
