She first burst onto the scene with the clever Shakespeare riff, 10 Things I Hate About You, which co-starred future stars Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. But, her follow-up, Save the Last Dance, made her a legitimate rising star, leading to roles in The Bourne Identity (and its sequels), The Omen remake, and many more. Yet, like many actresses from her generation, she seemed to struggle with finding a more mature role that matched her talent, and other than an arc on Showtime’s Dexter, much of her more recent work has flown under the radar.
