Listen to this story about how Snowdon brought life to his valleys. Then check out this challenge which can be done in pairs (one asking the other) or individually (note down some questions and then answer them as if you were the character)

Challenge: Try hot seating one of the Three Sisters - Elwy, Dee and Alyn - or Ciara the Mother/Snowdon the Father. How did they feel? What affected their decisions? What are they like?

Open-ended questions usually can't be responded to with a Yes or No whereas closed-ended questions can. Try using both styles of questions on these characters. The great thing about this activity is that there are no wrong answers! But this helps you get to know the characters in your story, which will make your retelling more authentic.
