SAJJADA NASHEEN BAGHDAD SHAREEF NAQEEB AL ASHRAAF

With tears in our eyes, we announce the sad veiling of the Custodian of Darbar-e-Ghausia Baghdad Sharif and the Al-Naqib al-Ashraaf His Holliness Al-Syed Ahmed Zafar alGillani alQadiri alBaghdadi (r) who passed away several hours ago in Baghdad Shareef.

His Holliness Naqib al-Ashraaf Al-Syed Ahmed Zafar alGillani alQadiri alBaghdadi (R) is the 17th Descendant of Hazoor Sayyidina Ghaus-e-Azzam (r) and spent his entire life rendering invaluable services towards the propagation of Islam and Tariqa Qadiria. As well as being the Present Custodian (Sajjada Nasheen / Mutawali Auqaaf e Baghdad) at Darbar e Ghausia Bab-us-Shaykh Baghdad Shareef; they also served as the Iraqi Ambassador to Pakistan (Safeer-e-Iraq).

They are the ELDER Brother of our Ghawth of this era, Shaykh-ul-Mashaikh Naqib al-Ashraaf Qudwatul Aulia Hazoor Pir Sayyidina TAHIR ALLAUDDIN alGilani alQadri alBaghdadi(r). We convey our Condolences to the entire Al-Gillani Family during this difficult time.
