Ideas About How We Paint & Why

In this video, I talk about a way I've come to identify types of painters based on how they think and operate in life. While I call them "categories," they are not hard and fast by any means and people can cross between them and move from one to the other simultaneously and over the course of a painting career. That said, it's interesting to consider where you see yourself in these definitions and relate that to how you paint and what you enjoy about painting.
