This slideshow and original song detail my three-month solo trip to New Zealand. It was the dream of a lifetime and did not disappoint. However my dad turned ill while I was there, and went downhill rapidly. I spoke with him on the phone two days before he passed. Being 7,500 miles from home, it was a lot to process. So the song and photos are really a tribute to my father, a wonderful man, devoted husband and father.
