MOT history checks are available to anyone who has a computer and to do a simple car check just go on google and search for 'car check' 'hpi check' or 'DVLA text check' you can get them now for as little as £3 and they check if they've been in an insurance write off, i.e category c or d. They also check log book loans and mileage discrepancy's. Visual checks are easy, it's the history of the car that's a little bit more in depth.
