Low poly spiral | Nomad Sculpt

Trick to create low poly spiral:
add sphere or cylinder. x division is proportional to the number of spiralling threads. y division is proportional to how twisty/how much it spirals.
decimate with 100%. all quads are converted to triangles, and we can use them for spiral
mask with radial symmetry. the symmetry is any smaller factor of the previous x-division.
scale outwards or inwards with gizmo.
subdivide with multires. optional: turn on smooth shading.
sharpen mask and scale again.

Can be used on spheres, cylinders, cones, any base with radial symmetry.
