Neptune has a ritual planned to acsend himself into a true Pheonix, burning away all of his mortal chains and wounds. By combining the hourglass with the full concentrated power of the sun, he aims to ascend himself in conjunction with an alchemical potion. If the ritual is successful, Neptune will be reborn anew and get his fresh start... otherwise he will be consumed by the void and expire.
