Luna Rossa Rewind Ep. 3 | A spectacular lee-bow

It is race three of the Final Match against Emirates Team New Zealand, and right after the start Luna Rossa is already in the lead with a few meters of advantage. This gain will be extended thanks to a spectacular "lee-bow" that will force the New Zealand boat to sail in disturbed air and tack to return to the left side of the course. This maneuver will be pivotal for Luna Rossa’s victory on the finish line with a 37-seconds of advantage.

È la terza regata del Match Finale contro i neozelandesi, subito dopo la partenza Luna Rossa è già avanti di qualche metro. Con una spettacolare “lee-bow” il team incrementa il vantaggio sui kiwi che sono costretti a navigare nei rifiuti e quindi a virare per tornare sul lato sinistro del campo. Questa manovra determinerà la vittoria di Luna Rossa in questa prova, con un vantaggio di 37 secondi sulla linea di arrivo.
