The StoryYellers: The One Mistake That Kept Me Alive - Ms. Ishara Aryal

Ishara Aryal had always been depressed her entire life. At 17, she knew that she was clinically depressed. She had just graduated high school and she did not know what to do next. She felt like a completely different person. She finally went up to her mother and said, ‘Mom, I’m depressed. I need help’. Her mother assured her that they would do everything. Eventually, one fine day, she decided to take an overdose of sleeping pills and end her life.

Currently Ishara Aryal is a student of English Literature at SUNY Oswego
