Sheep River Falls# Hiking Trail # @Kananaskis

Basically, I make a travel video to create a life memory, while also providing the factual and brief information about the destination so that anybody who enjoys hiking, travelling and excursion activities can explore further about the place. It is about an hour and half drive to south of Calgary to Sheep River Falls which is located in the Sheep River Provincial Park. If you are going through Okotoks take advantage to walk the Big Rock and learn about the history. You will also pass Black Diamond and Turner Valley. If you are lucky, you’ll encounter wild animals like bear, deer and mountain goats. I would say that the driving is most scenic when approaching to the falls. This is the ideal location for capturing several photographs. The rocks alongside the falls provide stunning slab-like steps that are perfect for posing. Aside from that, you will find a friendly place to have day picnic with family and friends in the riverbank.
Generally, considered an easy trail to get the falls from the parking lot. This is a very popular area for hiking and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are May through September.
