We love getting reviews like this one: "My fiance booked the Ultimate Weekend for our 4 year anniversary. We are from NYC and it's nearly impossible to find interactive animal experiences like the ones found at Tanganyika. We took two flights from LaGuardia and, candidly, I wasn't sure what to expect. I felt like it was "too good to be true" in terms of how up-close-and-personal with the animals it would be. As a huge animal lover, my experience in the Northeast has been that animal experiences are more observant than interactive. Feeding a lion? Training a snow leopard and cheetah? Letting the lemurs take a snack from your hand? Petting a kangaroo? Otters grasping my fingers? Swimming with penguins? No way in the northeast. But alas, at Tanganyika - ALL MY WILDEST ANIMAL ADVENTURES CAME TRUE! It was the most exhilarating, adorable, warmest trip of my life. The entire staff were amazing, knowledgeable and truly passionate about animal conservation.

We were greeted by our hostess Emily with park swag (tshirts, drink bottles, and laminated itinerary cards). She showed us to the VIP room and our 3-day extravaganza began. We opted to max out all experiences so we had a total of 17 during our ultimate weekend. It is impossible to narrow down even a top 5 so I shared photos in my review. Bottom line, this was one of the most incredible trips of my life. The only thing that could possibly match the intimacy of the animal experiences would be seeing these animals on an African safari or buying my own wildlife park! Thank you to the entire team for your patience, hospitality. You were all amazing!
