Tony Snyder | Rondino à la Chasse, Franz Strauss

Описание к видео Tony Snyder | Rondino à la Chasse, Franz Strauss

Chestnut Hall Music artist Tony Snyder, principal French horn with the Guelph Symphony Orchestra (and Wellington Winds and Brassroots), has three upcoming orchestral solo concerts to note: he is performing the Dukas -- Villanelle for Horn and Orchestra with the Guelph Symphony Orchestra on March 30, 2014, and then on May 4, he performs Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 2 in E Flat, K 417 with the Waterloo Chamber Players, which we will also record for release on Chestnut Hall Music. Then, over the summer, he will tour Holland and Belgium with the KW Community Orchestra under Dan Warren, and perform Howard Cable's Point Pelee for horn and strings.

The upcoming CD recording will feature other works, including the Franz Straus Horn Quartets (Tony playing all parts). These recordings to date have not been publicly heard, but Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra horn player Fergus McWilliam has heard a sample, and spontaneously declared "that's some good horn playing."

You can decide for yourself, listen to what Fergus heard.
