My friends and I headed out to Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park for a bit of weekend relaxation. What we got, however, was wind, waves, and a last minute adjustment to the plan!

The headwinds were gusting at 70km (which is exactly what we didn't need for their first backcountry trip) causing us to reroute and stop, in the name of safety, on Wolf Lake. We made it into Crab Lake the second day and were able to enjoy some much needed rest.

We had a great time and totally hope this becomes an annual event!
