Gary Fencik was a Safety for the Chicago Bears. The Miami Dolphins drafted the wide receiver out of Yale in the 7th round of the 1976 NFL Draft and converted him to Safety.

Released by the Dolphins after rupturing a lung, he was picked up by his hometown Chicago Bears and went on to play in 173 games over his 12 years with the Bears.
