How to improve Microsoft 365 security (including making your Personal Vault more secure)

Описание к видео How to improve Microsoft 365 security (including making your Personal Vault more secure)

In this video I'll show you how to make your Office Microsoft 365 account more secure. By default, a code is emailed to your email address, which you can then use to access your Microsoft 365 account or your OneDrive personal Vault.

This is fine but it isn't too secure if, for example, you have given someone access to your Chromebook. This is because they could simply open up your Personal Vault and have a code sent to your email address, which they can simply access.

Therefore, I'll show you the different ways of making your Microsoft 365 account more secure. This includes adding a second email address, which is always advised because it helps if you lose access to your account.

We'll also take a look at using the Microsoft Authenticator app to access your MS 365 account and personal vault.

Another thing we'll take a look at is setting up two factor authentication, which improves your account security.

Lastly, we'll take a look at setting up passwordless access. Passwords are so frustratingly annoying because we have to set them up for so many different accounts. Also, different websites have different password rules. This can make it easy to forget certain passwords.

By removing the need of a password makes it much easier to login to your account and arguably more secure.
