Python CodeWars #6 – Fundamentals: Mathematical Operators | Beginner Coding Journey

This is the sixth episode of my beginner coding journey, where I work through 8-kyu CodeWars challenges in Python. I’m still early in learning, and this series is my way of sharing the process — including the progress, the mistakes, and the lessons I pick up along the way.

In this video, I practice with Mathematical Operators. Operators are part of the basics in programming, and understanding them is key to solving many kinds of problems. I’ll walk through how I approached the challenge, what I learned, and where I can still improve.

What this series is about:
Sharing my learning journey as I work on coding fundamentals
Making coding more transparent for my girlfriend (and anyone else curious about what “coding” looks like)
Connecting with other learners and building a supportive community
Being open about both mistakes and small wins — because coding takes time and persistence
Hopefully encouraging beginners not to give up, even when challenges seem hard

I’m also still figuring out how to record and edit videos, so the style will improve over time. For now, I want to keep everything transparent and authentic.
