A 'Southern' day on my Hornby Dublo

Описание к видео A 'Southern' day on my Hornby Dublo

I thought I would have a day of 'Southern' running as Dublo has a number of locos that are representative of locos that ran on the Southern at some time or other.
Locos are:
'West Country Pacific' 'Barnstaple; seen here on a Pullman Train
BR standard class 4 on a train of Dublo 'Southern' coaches.
Dublo EMU unit; I've only just put this train into commission; it runs nicely, but there's a problem with it over crossings. I spent a day working on it (and swearing at it!) in order to fit pickup 'spoons' that were slightly further apart than those originally fitted; this was no easy job as the dimensions around pickup spoons are highly critical.
Converted Dublo R1 0-6-0T. This was only produced in a 2-rail version by Dublo, I've had it converted to 3 rail. These locos are light-weight and their load hauling ability is very limited. I had some Graham Farish 'Southern' coaches which are very attractive models, so I put two of these behind the engine as representative of a branch line train of the steam era.
