Designed to be the greatest, most powerful Agave didge in the world. Ultra fine woodworking meets uncompromised sonic power! The 4th rendition and lowest drone of my Queen model, this didge is a proprietary design in which octave, fifth and harmonic intervals are achieved by shaping the raw wood with pool-que style construction, steambending, and lots of repetition. And it was harvested from the sacred Apache lands of the Cochise Stronghold, where I have received explicit permission to harvest the hardest and strongest Agave in the world!
This didgeridoo leans towards 432hz C when played at room temperate, whilst throwing in 440hz C when played more aggressively with tighter lips. The intervals are not "perfect" by western standards, but more aligned with micro tonal Eastern scales that are still very harmonic and intuitively natural. Cosmic levels of volume make for a massive voice that is rich with bass and mid tones. Yet, backpressure is amazingly high due the tightened diameter of the neck/mouthpiece. This didge is SO EASY to play, and so loud it feels like cheating.
Being uncompromised for sake of raw power and versatility, this didge is stretched out and long at 87 inches/230cm. Yet it is extraordinarily lightweight at 3.5lbs, even with an ultra-smooth double coat of waterproof epoxy resin.
Whilst the Agave section of the tube is decievingly made of one single piece, the mouthpiece is made of wild-harvested hardwoods to achieve such a perfect tuning, with hammered and soldered Brass bands around the bell, body, and upper neck to increase durability.
In addition to the anatomically concave mouthpiece and brass, th artisan touch of this didgeridoo includes dark staining on the body, hand painted "galaxy" of gold, gold interior bell, and a large, very prismatic Labradorite crystal inlay, all finished off with my symbolic signature inside the bell "#298".
Included is a handmade carrying case of double-layered upholstery fabric, complete with closures and adjustable strap, that will protect this instrument for many years to come. Adding a bell-stand to your order is highly recommended to keep the bell pristine and offer superior acoustics (+$100, see pics & "personalization" tab).
With a background in Industrial Design and 17+ years of experience making some of the best didgeridoos on the planet with the upmost passion and obsession, I offer you the Queen in C!
