Painting a Ceramic Mug with Sharpie Paint Pens

Hi Everyone!

Today’s DIY is painting an artistic floral mug the easy way. That is to say we’re using Sharpie. If you didn’t know, one cool crafting hack is to use Sharpie Paint Pens to decorate a ceramic mug. (I suggest using a white mug, I think it makes the colors tend to show better, but whatever mug you choose is perfect). Then draw your best design in as many colors as you’d like!

Let your mug dry overnight and then pop it into your oven. You want to let the mug heat up in your oven (to avoid cracking). Cook your mug at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes and allow to cool in the oven. (Similar technique to glass painting.)

When it comes out cool, your all set!
