Vito Acconci in October 1969 began to randomly follow New York passersby ("Following piece"). His body, which became an artwork, led an unplanned collective performance, with unwitting actors.
After 51 years, now that some operations are performed by machines, I thought it would be appropriate to follow a robot paying homage to Acconci from afar, re-discussing our role in urban space as works of art.
