FULL AU:

M!Y/N, a beautiful man, “loved by all”, lived his life surrounded by envy and selfishness. That is, until he met F!Y/N, a girl so kind and pure hearted that he couldn’t help but let his eyes linger on her longer. The two grew closer, falling in love and staying stronger than ever. However, their peace didn’t last long as one of the villagers, filled with envy, set a trap for the two “perfect” lovers in the woods, burning them as they held each other’s hands, taking their last breaths.

Unknowngst, the forest was ruled over by a darkness who sent a curse towards the two, whilst thinking that it would be a blessing. Their eyes opened but their hearts hardened. They were no longer human and the boy’s soul was glued to the forest, forced to consume lives in order to nourish the dying forest. He was promised that once the forest lives again, only then can he be free.

The kind-hearted girl was nowhere to be seen. There was only a woman who wanted the love of her life to live. F!Y/N encouraged M!Y/N to consume as many lives as he can so they can be free and be together once again. She set herself up for the responsibility to lure people into the forest. She couldn’t let him die. Never again.
