Aubrey Morris dies: 'Wicker Man' star Aubrey Morris dead at 89


British actor Aubrey Morris passed away on Wednesday, at the age of 89 according to a Thursday, July 16 EW report. Best known for his role in "A Clockwork Orange" as probation officer Mr Deltoid. Morris' death was confirmed by his agent.

During a five-decade long career Morris film credits include," The Wicker Man," "Lisztomania," Gene Wilder's "The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes" and Woody Allen's "Love and Death" to name a few. Aubrey Morris also had a successful television career appearing on a number of television shows such as" The Avengers," "Murder, She Wrote" and "Deadwood." Aubry began his long-running career stage, television and in feature films from the 1950s until the 1990s. He made his film debut in "Ill Met by Moonlight."

Aubrey Morris; the final acting role was in Danny DeVito's U.S. comedy "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." Morris also worked opposite of the legendary theatre and film actor Richard Burton on stage in "Henry V." "Sleepwalkers" Director Mick Garris, who worked with Morris on the NBC TV show "The Others," paid tribute to the Morris on his Facebook page: Garris describe Morris as an amazing gentleman, and brought originality and enthusiasm to his brief roles.

Morris cause of death has not been revealed, nor have the details of his memorial service. Aubry Morris was preceded in death by his parents Morry and Becky, and his brother Wolfe Morris. Aubry Morris was one of nine children born to Morry and Becky Morris. His younger brother, Wolfe Morris, was also an accomplished actor. Rest in peace Mr. Morris
