Better late than never: SilentMode gives a genuine retrospective of Bricktastic 2025: the largest LEGO fan event in the UK, if not Europe. As is traditional, he provides a list of positives, negatives and key takeaways from his perspective.

Unlike many other event videos, SilentMode aimed to showcase everything - although there were so many displays at this event it proved very difficult. There was an entire room of models that had been missed!

SUMMARY
Although there was a lot of concern about what would happen to SilentMode at the event, based on occurrences at previous events, it turned out to be a good experience and worth the journey. Most if not all of the incidents he thought would take place did not happen, and it was a much-needed opportunity to be around like-minded people.

Positives include meeting new faces and people he hadn't seen in a very long time. In particular, the response to his Nintendo Gameboy built using LEGO was phenomenal.

The negatives include disappointment in his display, but the underlying theme could be summed up as the needle not moving for self-promotion. None of Never2old4lego's referrals were met.

Takeaways from Bricktastic 2025 include the importance of showing up and being around people - even in the face of adversity - to fuel personal growth.
