A failed detective must follow the evidence about his murdered girlfriend regardless of where it leads.

Upon finding out that his girlfriend is murdered, Detective Peter Williams begins an off-the-book investigation. Following the evidence to an impossible conclusion, the detective begins to question his own sanity. However, trusting his gut, he decides to warn others of the impending city wide slaughter.
