First of all sorry for the really shaky video. I'm trying to make the video with a camera phone and trying to measure and do other things at the same time. Something I'm not used to doing. I don't have a stand for my camera or anything like that so had to go with what I had.

Here is a quick video showing a jig I made to rip 2x4s really fast. I wanted to make something to rip them fast without having to make measurements every time.

I'm building a new chicken coop so I didn't need anything super precise but if you need really precise cuts you need to spend a lot of time looking through 2x6s and 2x4s to get absolutely perfect ones. Which is near impossible to find but you can find some pretty decent ones if you look through a lot of them.

The biggest issue is if you make your jig too straight and the rest of your 2x4s aren't super straight then you will have issues with the 2x4 fitting in the jig. This is mainly only for someone who needs to build some chicken coops, or rabbit cages, things that don't need to be perfect.
