The Ung Kong Islands, located in the southeast of Sai Kung comprises 4 major islands i.e. Wang Chau, Basalt Island, Bluff Island and Town Island. There are many smaller islands around the area.

Wang Chau is the smallest amongst the four key islands. If you are on the island, you will not want to miss the the Wang Chau Kok Cave which is located on the eastern part of the island.Wang Chau belongs to the Hong Kong Global Geopark and itis part of the Early Cretaceous Kau Sai Chau Volcanic Group.

Hikers can enjoy stunning geological sceneries from volcanic rock columns to sea caves. Apart from Wang Chau Kok Cave, there is also and 3m (W) X 40m (H) cave next to it that resembles a candle.
