Lamo waterfall (Nepali:लामो झरना), also known as #Jalbire #Jharana, is located in Chandi Vhanjhyang in the section of Muglin-Narayangarh Highway in Chitwan district of Nepal. aThe fall is about 100 meter high. A cannoying sports is also installed in the fall. The fall can be accessed by a kilometer long trial from Jalbire Temple which is situated 6 km towards Narayangarh from Mugling.

Jalbire Waterfall Chitwan also know as #Lamo #Jharana, Jalbire is a twenty-minute walk from the Jalbire temple, situated at the Narayangadh-Muglin road section, sits the waterfall at Ikshyakamana Gaupalika Chitwan. Dropping 100 meters, this waterfall is a popular destination for those in the Bharatpur and muglin area and gaining popularity, while tourists often enjoy swimming there as well. For those looking to canyoning or participate in homestays with the Gurung, the local people, this is also a popular spot around the Chitwan.

Likewise three small ponds provide us with opportunity to get recreated in fresh water. Though under shadowed on the way to this naturally gifted place visitors get a chance to explore Gurung villages and culture of this ethnic. Provided the required attention, this naturally gifted area can enrich national economy by conduction of home-stay programs. The area around this Lamo Jharna needs to be embedded with a park if possible for its sustainability in the way it is today.

To enjoy the Jilbire Waterfall Chitwan you need to pay entry fees. Entry fees are levied according to the Nepali and Foreigners. Nepali needs to pay Rs 50 to enjoy the waterfall of Jalbire where foreigners need to pay Rs 100. This place is truly a heaven for the Chitwan people who are burning by heat in the summertime can experience nature’s gift on their doorstep. Nowadays Jalbire Waterfall is also a popular dating spot for youngsters who wants to enjoy a few hours with their beloved one. Far from the maddening city, Jalbire is the place to spend your quality daytime.
