Watch: Delhi's India Gate Clouded with Heavy Smog as Winter Begins in the Capital

On Sunday morning, Delhi's overall air quality deteriorated to the 'poor category' with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 266, a significant increase from the previous day's 173. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), specific AQI readings were observed at different locations in Delhi: India Gate's Kartavya Path at 266, IGI Terminal T3 at 276, Anand Vihar at 345 (very poor), ITO at 309, New Moti Bagh at 360, and Dwarka Sector-8 at 313. In nearby areas, Noida recorded an AQI of 290 (poor), while Gurugram had an AQI of 152 (moderate).
