Munkatch Wedding - September 3, 2012 - part 2

Video footage of the wedding of Rabbi Chaim Eluzer Horowitz to Sarah Rochel Krausz on September 3rd, 2012. The groom is the son of Rabbi Yosef Horowitz who serves as Rosh Yeshiva of Chaim Vsholom Munkacs and is son in law of Grand Rabbi Moshe Leib Rabinovich who heads the worldwide Hasidic sect of Munkacs. The bride is the daughter of Rabbi Shmuel Dovid Krausz who leads the Udvari community.

The wedding ceremony took place in front of Munkacs World Headquarters in the Boro Park section of Brooklyn, NY. The celebration continued at the Palace Ballroom in Brooklyn with the attendance of thousands of chasidim and followers.

The Munkacs Hasidic Dynasty, which stems from the Eastern European city of Munkacs (Mukachevo), Ukraine, was founded by the great Rabbi Tzvi Elimelech Spira. The Pre World War Two Rebbe was Rabbi Chaim Eluzar Spira, author of Minchas Eluzar. The sect is headed today by Grand Rebbe Moshe Leib Rabinovich and is based in Brooklyn, NY and has branches throughout the world.
