RUMINATIONS: Having learned my lesson the last few times I did big milestone episodes, I decided to try to retain any new audience I might have gained by going for a nice big ol’ franchise – Godzilla. After all, the 2014 movie had only been a month or so before then. It especially helped that the movie night my friends host was going through all the Godzilla films, meaning I had seen most of them now and could make better jokes or references to them than I could before, so it was only natural. Hell, Godzilla had been absent from the show since Godzilla vs. Barkley, anyway. Even Charles Barkley had made a reappearance, so it was time to talk about the Big G again. At the time of this writing, we’re three issues into the series and it has gotten pretty awful. The good news about it, though, is that the comics move VERY quickly, giving me a chance to make some jokes and move on and sometimes when you’ve just done a HUGE project like, say, a 300th episode or something, it’s nice to have something fairly easy to make jokes about.
