The biography of Hazrat Suleman (A.S.) (Prophet Solomon) is characterized by a reign of unmatched power and divine wisdom, gifted by Allah. As the son of Prophet Dawood (A.S.), he inherited both prophethood and a vast kingdom, ruling not only over humans but also over jinns, animals, and the wind.
Early Life and Divine Wisdom
From a young age, Hazrat Suleman (A.S.) displayed exceptional intelligence and judgment [01:12].
The Shepherd's Dispute: In a famous case where a flock of sheep destroyed a farmer's crop, he provided a more equitable solution than his father, suggesting that the sheep owner work the farm until it was restored while the farmer utilized the sheep's benefits in the interim [01:59].
The Dispute of the Two Mothers: He famously resolved a conflict between two women claiming the same baby by suggesting the child be cut in half; the real mother's plea to give the child away to save its life revealed her identity [02:41].
Miraculous Powers and Reign

Command over the Wind: He could travel vast distances (a month's journey) in a single morning or evening by commanding the wind to carry his throne [05:22].

The Story of Queen Bilqis (Sheba)
After a Hudhud (hoopoe bird) reported that the people of Sheba worshipped the sun, Hazrat Suleman (A.S.) sent a letter inviting their Queen, Bilqis, to embrace Islam [26:27].
To demonstrate his power, he had her massive throne transported to his court in the blink of an eye [28:46].
Upon witnessing his magnificent crystal palace—which she initially mistook for a pool of water—she realized the truth and accepted the faith of Allah [30:33].
The Building of Baitul Muqaddas and Passing
One of his most significant legacies was the completion of Baitul Muqaddas (Masjid al-Aqsa).
Unique Death: To prove to mankind that jinns do not possess knowledge of the unseen (Ghayb), Allah took his soul while he was standing in prayer, leaning on his staff [08:45].
He remained in that position for a long time, and the jinns continued their heavy labor out of fear, thinking he was still alive. It was only when a termite ate through his wooden staff and he fell that the jinns realized he had passed away [34:11].
