"Things Left Unsaid" is an exhibition that delves into the profound need humans have to be seen, understood, and acknowledged, both by others and within ourselves. It serves as a culmination of what happens when we neglect to engage in introspection and fail to ask important questions of ourselves and society. In this context, ignorance ceases to be bliss, and unresolved issues loom large. The exhibition also explores the dialogue between the artists and their works, with two artists leaning towards figurative art and the other two embracing abstraction. Each artist confronts different aspects of their internal worlds, which inevitably seep into the broader societal fabric. Through their artwork, they invite viewers to step in, observe, and depart with something meaningful.

Dianna-Maria Somtochukwu Offor-Ugoji (b.1999) is an abstract artist and expressionist painter. She grew up drawing and sketching as early as the age of 5. In highschool, she completed a drawing assignment for her classmates which led to the discovery of her talents. She went on to master watercolor and poster colors during her early years. She later studied fine arts at the University of Lagos graduating with a BA in Creative Arts (textile design) in 2021. It was also where she expanded into a new range of materials for painting including pastel, oil and acrylic. She is known as ‘God’s Artist’ because of the Christian abstract imagery depicted in her paintings and her strong belief in God. Her style of art is considered “Biblical” as it reflects on messages from the bible and christianity. Using bright vibrant colors, layers, texture and contrast, she highlights abstract color blocks with simple use of contrasting colors and chalk pastels.
She has taken part in group exhibitions including Femme Fatale at Lagoon Gallery (2018), Purple Place, Olori Gallery (2022) and Grow up, the Art Hotel (2022).
